Annual, usually much branched, 3-15 cm. tall, covered throughout with close, white, woolly hairs.
Distribution: Widespread throughout Washington; Alaska south to Oregon, east across the central U.S. and Canada to the Atlantic Coast.
Habitat: Moist areas, streambanks and waste ground.
