Campanula scouleri (pale bellflower) (= Campanula scouleri in Flora of the Pacific Northwest) Perennial herbs from branching, slender rhizomes, the stems lax, often curved at the base, mostly glabrous, 1-4 dm. tall. Distribution: Occurring on both sides of the Cascades crest in Washington, but chiefly to the west; Alaska to California. Habitat: Openings in moist woods, low to moderate elevations. |
