Cichorium intybus (chicory, wild succory) (= Cichorium intybus in Flora of the Pacific Northwest) Perennial from a deep taproot, 3-17 dm. tall, with milky juice. Distribution: Widely distributed throughout most of Washington; widely distributed throughout most of North America. Habitat: Dry to moist soil, pastures, roadsides, and other disturbed areas. |
