Distribution: Reported to occur east of the Cascades crest in southeastern Washington, but no specimens have been seen; Alberta to northeastern Nevada, east to Utah and New Mexico.

Habitat: Open areas in plains and low hills.

Flowers: May-June

Origin: Native

Growth Duration: Perennial

Conservation Status: Not of concern

Pollination: Bumblebees, bees, flies, hummingbirds
