Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest and in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington; south-central British Columbia to Oregon, east to western Montana.

Habitat: Riverbanks below high-water level, mostly along Columbia River and its major tributaries.

Flowers: July-October
