Distribution: Occurring on both sides of the Cascades crest in Washington; Yukon Territory to British Columbia and Washington, sporadically east to the Rocky Mountains and the Atlantic Coast.

Habitat: Cool, damp woods, low to mid-elevations in the mountains.
