Distribution: Occurring west of the Cascades crest on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, where endemic to Grays Harbor and Jefferson counties.
Habitat: Coniferous forest understory and edge, and moist slopes at low to moderate elevations.

Herbaceous, scapose perennials from narrowly ovoid bulbs 35-75 mm. long; scapes 12-25 cm. tall.
Leaves basal, 12-25 cm. long, green or faintly mottled with white or brown, lanceolate to ovate, the margins wavy.
Inflorescence of 1-3 flowers; tepals 6, white at the base, shading to pink, darkest toward the tips, with a yellow band at the base, lanceolate to ovate, 30-50 mm. long, the inner 3 with small auricles at the base; stamens 6, 12-24 mm. long, the filaments white, flattened; style white, 10-18 mm. long; stigma 3-lobed,the lobes recurved.
Capsules oblong to ovoid, 3-6 mm. long.
