Distribution: Chiefly east of the Cascades from British Columbia to California, east to Utah
Habitat: Sagebrush flats, grasslands, open ponderosa pine woodlands, where moist in early spring.
Flowers: March - June
Conservation Status: Not of concern
Occurs east of the Cascades in Washington. Filament tube is more strongly inflated at base and tepals are lighter pinkish-purple in color. Commonly has 2-3 flowers per stem.
