Distribution: Occurring west of the Cascades crest and in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington; Washington to California, also in Montana, and more common in central and eastern North America.

Habitat: Disturbed meadows, grasslands, prairies, roadsides and other open areas.

Flowers: May-September

Origin: Introduced Eurasia and North Africa

Conservation Status: Not of concern
