Onagraceae   (Evening-Primrose Family)

Notes: Some genera in the Onagraceae have undergone significant taxonomic revision since the publication of H&C. The genus Oenothera as circumscribed in H&C has been split to distinguish Camissonia, comprised mostly of annuals here in Washington. Species level changes are extensive in the genus Epilobium. Much of the taxonomic revision in Onagraceae is reflected in the first and second editions of the Jepson Manual, so that is the primary floristic reference used here.
