Notes: L. laxiflorus taxa has been synonymized within L. arbustus because authors believe that L. laxiflorus is misapplied in North America. The Jepson Manual (1993) does not recognized infraspecific taxa for this species, but Illustrated Flora of British Columbia (1999) does. Here we follow the IFBC treatment until a more contemporary treatment of this species is presented.
