Notes: We follow FNA in accepting the subspecies, but they seem poorly defined along arbitrary size diffences in the seeds, stems, and leaves.

Abrams & H&C uses the superfluous combination (Spreng.) Morong, made in 1893; we use the (Spreng.) Magnus combination made in 1870.
