Location: U.S.A., Washington, Clallam County: "Clark's bluff," Port Angeles, rocky balds off Highway 112. Hairy perigyna, basal spikelets present, many leaves falcate, stiff, some prev. years dried leaves breaking into fibers, most plants with inflorescence bract < inflorescence, though a few plants were >= inflorescence, female scale short awned, green with reddish borders.
