Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in northeastern Washington; central British Columbia to northeastern Washington, east to the Atlantic Coast.

Habitat: Prairies, stream banks, ditches, ponderosa pine forest openings, and seasonally moist alkaline flats in sagebrush.

Flowers: April-June
