Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in Washington, chiefly in eastern Washington; British Columbia to Oregon, east to Idaho and Montana.

Habitat: Low, dry grasslands and woodlands, occasionally to high elevations in the mountains.

Flowers: May-August
