Distribution: Known from extreme northeastern region of Washington; Alaska to Washington, Idaho and Montana, east across northern North America to the Atlantic; also in Greenland and eastern Eurasia.

Habitat: Deep woodland, often where swampy.

Flowers: May-August

Growth Duration: Perennial

Conservation Status: Threatened in Washington (WANHP)
