Distribution: Occurring on both sides of the Cascades crest in Washington; circumboreal, south irregularly to northern Washington, northeast Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, and New Jersey.

Habitat: Moist, shaded cliffs and ledges, often on calcareous rocks, middle- to upper-montane areas.

Origin: Native

Growth Duration: Perennial

Conservation Status: Sensitive in Washington (WANHP)
