Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in Washington; From south-central British Columbia to Nevada, from the east base of the Cascades to Idaho and northwestern Utah.
Habitat: Sagebrush flats, grasslands, open ponderosa pine woodlands, where moist in early spring.
Conservation Status: Not of concern
Occurs east of the Cascades in Washington. Filament tube is more strongly inflated at base and tepals are lighter pinkish-purple in color. Commonly has 2-3 flowers per stem.
