Distribution: It occurs across the U.S. and Canada and also in Europe and Asia.

Conservation Status: Not of concern

Identification Notes:

Ramaria abietina is a slender, dingy yellowish coral that develops greenish stains in age or when handled. The spores are fairly small (6--9 x 3.5--4.5 µm) and are spiny. It grows in conifer litter, often appearing in rows of fruitbodies. R. abietina has also been known as R. ochraceovirens.
