Notes: FNA5: "Variety hypoleium is restricted to Chelan and Kittitas counties, Washington, extending from the Mt. Stuart Range south to the Bald Mountain area west of Ellensburg. It is doubtfully distinct from var. aureum, although geographically well isolated."
